What campers will do
- Chess coaching, skill evaluation, and age-appropriate groups
- Guided games, tactics, strategy, and coached review
- Lunch, supervised games, and movement breaks
- Outdoor activities when weather permits
- Indoor enrichment activities when outdoor play is not available
Approximate schedule
How the day is structured
8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Arrival and settling in, followed by chess coaching, evaluation, and group assignments.
10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Chess group activities, guided play, lunch, supervised games, and movement.
12:30 PM - 1:00 PM
Morning pickup and afternoon arrival. Full-day campers remain supervised.
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Outdoor activities when weather permits, or indoor enrichment activities.
2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Afternoon chess activities, coached game review, recap, and acknowledgments.
4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Afternoon and full-day pickup window.
