About This Online Program
This is a virtual chess camp. Campers participate from home through an online platform. This program does not take place at the Albany Chess Center physical location.
Each session combines chess instruction, puzzles, supervised online games, game analysis, and interaction with an instructor. Campers are grouped by age and playing level whenever group size allows.
Registered families will receive the information needed to join online before the camp date begins.
Parent Supervision and Home Participation
- Campers participate from home and remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian during the session.
- A parent or responsible adult should be available nearby and reachable by phone during the selected session if Albany Chess Center staff need to contact the family.
- Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring the camper has a reliable internet connection, a suitable device, and a quiet space for online participation.
- Campers are expected to follow staff directions, treat others respectfully, and participate appropriately during online sessions.
